Registration

Participation fee for the 64th JALAS meeting is 8,000 yen for JALAS members and the Asian Federation of Laboratory Animal Science (AFLAS) members (proof-of-membership documentation will be requested at the 64th JALAS meeting registration counter), and 10,000 yen for non-JALAS and non-AFLAS members.

Registration Desk

The registration desk will be operating during the following hours:
May 25th (Thu) and 26th (Fri) 8:30-17:00
May 27th (Sat) 8:30-15:00

Participation fee
Foreign delegates:
JALAS and AFLAS members 8,000 yen
Non-members 10,000 yen
Fees include: Admission to the scientific sessions, program and abstract book

Social gathering participation fee
Foreign delegates:
JALAS and AFLAS members 8,000 yen
Non-members 8,000 yen

Payment and Currency

All payments are to be made in yen and cash. No credit cards, bank drafts or checks can be accepted.

Conference Materials

• 1) Name tag: All participants are requested to wear their name tags throughout the event. Participants without badges may be stopped when entering sessions and the reception.
• 2) Program and abstract book

Visa

To enter Japan, some foreign nationals are required to obtain a visa issued by the Japanese embassy or consulate in their country of residence.
If you need a visa, please contact the secretariat via e-mail before March 31.
Please note that the processes to issue a visa could take time, so be make sure to allow enough time to prepare the required documents to apply for a visa.

How to Write and Your Presentation Abstract Manuscript

Online General Presentation Registration

1. Use the following General Presentation Registration system.

2. Click the following “the lead author registration” link,
and sign up by using an e-mail address and set a password.

3. Click the following “the lead author login” link, and login using the e-mail address and password used to sign up at the lead author registration.

It's possible to change your paper information until the registration closes.
You are to keep your password secret and do not lose it.
Without your password, you cannot change your paper information and abstract.
The 64th JALAS Secretariat cannot help with password inquiries.

4. Sign up abstracts
After logging in via “The lead author login,” click the “New Submission” button.

5. Input your paper information.
・Title of the paper
・Author (maximum 20 people)
・Affiliation/institution (maximum 10 affiliations/institutions)
・Category (choose Classification A or Classification B)

6. The announcement form will be only a poster announcement.

7. Upload your abstract
If you can write a Japanese abstract, then please upload your English and Japanese abstracts.
The body of the abstract must be 280 words or less, and cannot include charts or special characters.

8. Click the “Confirm” button when you have completed your paper information and uploaded your abstract.

9. Click “Registration” after confirming your paper information.

10. Please confirm your entry ID
After registration, you will receive your Entry ID.
In case you don't receive your entry ID, you must confirm it via your submission form.
