Welcome to the 56th JAEAT annual meeting

The 56th annual meeting will be held in Matsumoto City in the fall of 2022, under supervision by the Kanto Branch of Japanese Association for Experimental Animal Technologists (JAEAT). In October, the mountains of Shinshu are colored with autumn leaves. In addition, national treasures such as the Matsumoto Castle and the former Kaichi School, as well as several other important cultural properties are scattered throughout the city. We hope you will take time to enjoy the nature and culture of Matsumoto between presentations.
The main theme of this Annual Meeting is “Technologists”. Focusing on experimental animal technologists, we will prepare such topics as technology, techniques, inspections, equipment, facilities, experimental animal welfare, technologist sociality, and new way of thinking as technologist. In addition, there are planned sessions by specialized teams (experimental animal welfare, reproductive and developmental engineering, and medium-sized animals) and practical training teams (basic animal experimental techniques, microbial control) of the Kanto branch. We invite you to join us and look forward to your visit to Matsumoto.

Matsumoto City is located in the middle of Nagano Prefecture where the 1998 Winter Olympics were hosted. It sits at the foot of the Japanese Alps, nestled between the mountains in the heart of Japan.
